our water girl

I guess it's not a big surprise that a daughter of two raft guides turned sailors would love the water, but this girl LOVES the water! When we bathe her she eats it up like it's the best thing in the world. She settles in, relaxes, smiles (I swear) and has the most pleasant, serene way about her while in the water. Psych!

hmmmm...I did notice that you tried to take the credit for her affection to water, but actually, I am the one to thank for that. Carey, if you remember correctly my wish for Maggie at your Blessingway was that she loves the water as much as we always did growing up. So, anyways, you're welcome.

Yeah, no doubt ella can teach her to swim, if my heart can take it. Just thinking back to ella learning to swim (or rather, waiting to be rescued while she bobbed happily under water) gives me anxiety. And thanks, Gina, for blessing this on our child. seriously, thanks.
