belly cast
So, what do we do while we wait in anticipation of the big day? Why, make a belly cast of course! We completely underestimated the messiness of the procedure and spent as much time cleaning up afterward as we did actually making it. The cast is still a work in progress and will likely get some modge-podge applied to fair it out a little smoother. Isn't it beautiful?

whoops- hit the wrong button. The belly case looks great! I can only imagine the fun it was to make it. lots of newspapers on the floor?!
Yes, we thought to put newspapers down about 10 minutes into it. oops. 30 minutes in Carey couldn't feel her legs anymore.
